Can a simple product like a golf tee change the confidence in your drives? I have to answer that with a resounding ‘yes’!
Thanks to the kind people from Zero Friction at the 2020 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando for supplying these tees for a review.
The Zero Friction Power three prong golf tee helps in a simple, yet effective way by allowing an opening right where you strike the ball, which works perfectly for me. I tend to have a lower than I like ball trajectory with my drives so I shift more weight to my right foot, place the ball with the number, or a mark of some sort, towards the bottom rear of the tee as a target, which allows me to strike my drives with a bit of an upswing. The ZF Power 3 Tee leaves an opening right where I strike the mark on the ball. That means that there is nothing between the face of the driver and the ball. I also used the same tee for two rounds of 18 plus a 9 hole and the practice range without any damage. And just to let you know, I’ve sent that tee flying on some ugly mishits. So yes, it’s extremely durable; and that my friends will save you money in the long run.
The packaging states that they add five yards to your drive. I disagree. I’ve added ten and maybe one or two more! The change in trajectory was noticeable. What a feeling to actually stand there and watch my ball fly off the tee. Also, the bright color of the tee made it easy to find when it went flying from my swinging a bit too low.
I have to say that this is a great product for us older golfers who have lost a bit of speed and trajectory and can use help off the tee wherever we can find it. A good tee shot definitely gives you confidence for finishing the rest of the hole. My drives may not be the longest, but if I can end up in the fairway, well, for me that’s half the battle. The Zero Friction Power 3 Prong
Tee is quite the advantage.
Can’t wait to try out and review some of their other products!
I strongly encourage that you find a dealer (or a friend who has them) in your area and try out these amazing tees.
